This vest is perfect for mid-seasons, thrown over a plain top for a bit of warmth on cooler days.
Using a spiral construction method, the never-ending spiral vest is perfect for a crocheter who loves not having ends to weave in, nor seams to sew. It uses linked Tunisian crochet stitches and short row shaping to create shaping around the hips.
A crocheter with basic Tunisian crochet skills should find this pattern easy to work - the only prior knowledge is single crochet (UK double) and Tunisian simple stitch (TSS).
Written and photographic instructions are included for techniques that may not have been previously known – this includes 2 short row shaping techniques.
Please note that only one size is included in this pattern. This pattern is planned for a body sized 10-12 (Australian sizing) which is my usual size 3 or medium size in other patterns. If you wish to make a different size, please refer to the Whirligig Vest.
